A galette forgives everything a pie does not. The crust gets folded over by hand, the edges are supposed to look like that, and it goes from counter to oven in the time it takes the oven to heat. This is the one that gets made when the blueberries are good and nobody has the energy for a lattice.
If the berries are very sweet, pull the sugar back to a quarter cup. The galette holds at room temperature for a day, loosely covered, and is better than most things for breakfast.
